The Duo was formed in 2003 for participation in the shows of the theater company Fanny & Alexander of Ravenna (Italy), from that moment began a concert activity that brought the Duo to perform in various European festivals (Rencontres Martenot - Paris; A.p.A.I. - Casa dell'Arte - Ravenna; Acusmatiq Festival - Ancona; Temple Neuf and Ares Le Site - Strasbourg; International Museum of Ceramics - Faenza; Conservatory of Music Bruno Maderna - Cesena; etc ..). The musical repertoire of the Duo is focused on all original works composed for ondes martenot and piano and some transcriptions or adaptations, from the first compositions of this particular instrument electroacoustic by Darius Milhaud and Andre Jolivet to the contemporary composer like Tristan Murail and Sylvano Bussotti. In 2013, after ten years the Duo it is called with the name Duo Sérimpie on the occasion of the publication of the CD entitled Sérimpie, for the English label ReR Megacorp.
In January 2014, in the newspaper The Independent music critic Andy Gill has published a review evaluating the CD with 5 stars. Many radio across Europe sent the recording of the CD, as the BBC music, Radio Popolare, etc ....
